Bazhou Jinghua Metal Products Company Nitrogen Generation System Upgrade Project

Industry: Metal product coating and plating processing; production of galvanised, Zn-Al-Mg and colour-coated sheet metal annealing and processing.

Original gas supply model: Outdated nitrogen generation units operated simultaneously year-round; control systems were outdated and unable to dynamically adjust to production loads, resulting in persistently high overall energy consumption.

Equipment procured: An energy-saving nitrogen generation system with a capacity of 600 Nm³/h and a purity of 99.9997%, accompanied by a retrofit plan for the old units and an intelligent multi-unit grid-integration solution.

Technical advantages: A bespoke integrated solution developed following on-site surveys, consolidating four gas supply stations into two centralized supply stations; The new units serve as the primary gas source, whilst the old units have had their control systems, pipework and molecular sieves upgraded; intelligent grid integration enables automatic load adjustment, eliminating no-load energy consumption; high-purity nitrogen prevents oxidation of sheet metal; through the coordinated operation of new and old units, electricity savings exceed 500 kwh per hour; the reuse of existing equipment minimizes investment costs, supports 24-hour continuous production, flexibly addresses peak and off-peak gas demand, and ensures a stable gas supply to multiple coating and plating production lines.
