Industry: Production of cold-rolling steel sheets, galvanized sheets, Al/Zn-coated sheets, Zn-Al-Mg-coated sheets and high-end functional color-coated sheets.

Previous gas supply background: Gas was supplied by four aged nitrogen generators, which had high specific power and unstable operation.

Equipment procured: An energy-saving PSA nitrogen generation system with a capacity of 700 Nm³/h & 99.9997%, equipped with an automatic hydrogenation purification unit and an intelligent monitoring and operation system for multi-unit parallel operation; the existing obsolete nitrogen generators were retained as a standby gas source.

Technical advantages: A bespoke gas supply solution, with the unit capable of automatically adjusting the hydrogenation rate; Following commissioning, one air compressor was decommissioned and another operated at reduced load, whilst the upstream air compression system simultaneously reduced energy consumption; intelligent monitoring automatically adjusts load levels, eliminating power consumption during no-load operation; produces ultra-high-purity nitrogen with a low dew point, enabling the preparation of nitrogen-hydrogen protective atmospheres to improve sheet metal yield whilst ensuring furnace purging safety; coordination between new and old units ensures continuous gas supply to the production line, contributing to the creation of a green factory
