Industry: Grain and oil processing; production of cold-pressed sunflower oil, linseed oil and soya bean oil.

Original Gas Supply Arrangement: During the storage and bottling stages of edible oils, exposure to oxygen can lead to oxidation and rancidity, resulting in a deterioration in flavour and an increase in acid value; food-grade nitrogen is therefore required for tank purging and bottle flushing.

Equipment Procured: 30 Nm³/h PSA nitrogen generation system with 99.99% purity.

Technical Advantages: Specialised food-grade molecular sieves ensure clean and safe gas production; optimised flow paths extend the service life of the molecular sieves; fully automatic PLC control with intelligent load regulation reduces power consumption; multi-stage filtration for oil, water and bacteria removal prevents secondary contamination of the oil; modular design simplifies operation and maintenance; on-site nitrogen generation replaces bottled nitrogen, inhibiting the oxidation and rancidity of oils, preserving flavour and extending shelf life, whilst meeting food production facility regulations.
